Fight BACteria. Choose ARESTIN®.

Options are available to help you pay for your ARESTIN® prescription

When you're ready for ARESTIN® (minocycline HCl) Microspheres, 1 mg treatment, one of the first steps is to find out your payment options and whether ARESTIN® may be covered by insurance. Ask the staff at your dental office to help determine if your dental or medical insurance prescription plan provides coverage for ARESTIN®.

Over 135,000 prescriptions have been written for ARESTIN® through patients’ existing medical coverage. You too may be eligible for coverage if your plan allows.

Patients with medical coverage may also be eligible for a copay as low as $0*

You may qualify to receive a copay as low as $0 through the ARESTIN® Copay Assistance Program.* This program works with your medical prescription benefits to help reduce or eliminate out-of-pocket costs for ARESTIN® treatment.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Your dental office will collect your prescription card and medical insurance information, and will ask you to sign an ARESTIN® Copay Assistance Program Patient Eligibility Form.
  2. Your dental professional will submit your Patient Eligibility Form along with your ARESTIN® prescription.
  3. If copay is required, you'll receive a phone call from a representative. You’ll need to pay your copay at this time.
  4. Once your copay is paid, your ARESTIN® will be shipped to your dental office for your next visit.

If you do not qualify for medical prescription coverage or copay assistance, be sure to speak with your dentist about additional ways to access ARESTIN®.

*Please see Offer Restrictions and Eligibility Requirements on the Patient Eligibility Form.

For patients with dental coverage

If you have dental insurance coverage, ARESTIN® treatment may be covered. Please ask your dental office or dental insurance provider.

For patients without insurance coverage

If you don't have dental or medical insurance coverage, speak with your dental professional about payment options for your periodontal treatment.

How much does ARESTIN® cost?

The cost of ARESTIN® varies depending on how much treatment you need. After your dental professional has evaluated your oral health and discussed treatment options, he or she can provide you with an estimate of the cost.

Options are available that can help reduce or eliminate out-of-pocket treatment costs. ARESTIN® may be covered under your dental insurance plan or your existing medical prescription benefits. If your medical insurance covers ARESTIN®, you may also be eligible for a copay as low as $0 through the ARESTIN® Copay Assistance Program.*

Keep in mind that treating periodontal (gum) disease today may be less costly than waiting to treat symptoms at a more advanced stage.
